Look at three key outputs: your Year 1 cash flow impact, your 5-year net profit trajectory, and your grazing demand vs. capacity. These three numbers will tell you whether the growth makes financial sense on your specific operation.

Pull up the Breakeven report in both scenarios. If your breakeven price per pound rises significantly with growth, you need to understand why — and whether your market can absorb that.
